Eva Thewis / RN
Board Vice Chair
Eva was born in Minnesota but was raised in Rio de Janeiro for 8 years. Her parents were missionaries, and they went south with a group of other families to church plant in one of the largest cities in the world. It was in Rio that she came to know Christ at a young age and was blessed to have parents and friends help cultivate and provide an environment to grow and learn my faith in Christ.
She and her sister started the first young republican group in Ashland high school. After college, I wanted to make my faith my own and lived in Germany and England for a year while attending a bible school. It was there that I truly became a follower of Christ and made the decision to fully follow him.
Eva attended nursing school at Crown College in Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology and Counseling. She finished her nursing degree at WITC in Ashland. After passing the nursing boards she worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on the Trauma unit.
